Barcelona Obertura Spring Festival & Barcelona Obertura Ciutat de Clàssica 2024

Throughout the month of March, the Barcelona Obertura Spring Festival and Barcelona Obertura Ciutat de Clàssica, the festivals that fill the city with classical music, will take place.

Barcelona Obertura is an initiative born from the union of the Gran Teatre del Liceu, the Palau de la Música Catalana and L’Auditori, the most important classical music venues in the city of Barcelona. The aim of this project is to promote the city of Barcelona internationally through classical music.

Remember that Aerobús ends its route in Plaza Cataluña, where you can take the metro or bus to reach the different venues.

In March, the Barcelona Obertura Spring Festival brings together great international artists in the three halls, where they will perform different works, concerts will be held and operas can be experienced on stage. The Barcelona Obertura Ciutat de Clàssica is a different festival, fresher and with more novelties. It is a festival open to all audiences free of charge, and takes place in different spaces in Barcelona, such as Casa Batlló, Mirador Torre Glòries, museums, libraries, among many others. In addition, the festival includes concerts of different young talents from Barcelona, focusing classical music towards a more inclusive and dynamic proposal and panorama.
