Disruptions at Aerobús stops due to the Mercè popular run.

Date and time of the disruption
- Sunday 20 September 2026, from 5.30 am to approximately 4 pm (or until public roads are reopened to traffic).

Due to the Mercè run taking place in the centre of Barcelona on Sunday 20 September 2026, between 5.30 am and 4.00 pm, there will be disruptions to the routes of Aerobús lines A1 and A2. There will be an only drop on / off point at Pl. Espanya.

Airport direction

The following stops are cancelled:

Plaça Catalunya
Sepúlveda.

The service to the airport will start at the Espanya stop.

City center direction

The following stops are cancelled:

Gran Via – Urgell
Plaça Universitat
Plaça Catalunya

The Plaça Espanya stop will be the end of the line.

Any changes to the schedule may be subject to instructions from the local police. We recommend that you allow extra time for your journeys, especially if you plan to arrive at or travel from the airport during the period when disruption is expected.
