Dates: 17 to 27 January 2025

Once again this year, the first major festivities of Barcelona, in Sant Antoni, will take place from Friday 17 January, the same day of the saint, until Sunday 26. In addition, these holidays coincide with the January sales in which shops will be open daily, so you already have a different plan for this first month of 2025. The festivities begin on the 17th, the day of the saint, and will be held in different areas of the neighbourhood. During the festivities there will be different events and up to 150 activities such as the opening speech, the blessing of the animals, dancing, parades and parades, and much more. You can find more information about the programme and activities here.

One of the most popular activities of the festivities is the parade of the Tres Tombs de Sant Antoni, which this year 2025 will take place on Saturday 18 January. In this parade, carriages, horses and even donkeys parade through the streets of the neighbourhood and the centre of Barcelona. This parade has been held since 1826, 200 years ago, and the tradition has not been lost over the years. Are you going to miss the opportunity to attend? Remember that the Aerobús stops at Plaza España, where, just a few minutes’ walk away, you can reach the Sant Antoni neighbourhood and enjoy its typical festivities in person.
