Travel and service

Line A1 departs from Plaça Catalunya, stops at Carrer Sepúlveda and Plaça Espanya and ends at Terminal 1 where it stops at Arrivals and Departures. The return stops at Plaça Espanya, Gran Via – Borrell, Plaça Universitat and ends at Plaça Catalunya.

Line A2 departs from Plaça Catalunya, stops at Carrer Sepúlveda and Plaça Espanya and ends at Terminal 2B. The return stops at Plaça Espanya, Gran Via – Borrell, Plaça Universitat and ends at Plaça Catalunya.

The journey takes approximately 30-35 minutes, depending on when you get the bus.

The main difference between the A1 and A2 lines is the airport terminal where they depart or arrive:

  • A1 Line goes to Terminal 1.
  • A2 Line goes to terminals 2B and 2C.

You should check from which terminal your flight is departing, so you can find out which Aerobús line you should travel on.

The Aerobús operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The company will not be liable for any damage and/or deterioration of hand luggage, nor in the event of theft, loss or misplacement.

Pets are allowed to travel as long as they are transported in cages/carriers of appropriate and approved dimensions. They must always travel in the same service as the carer and only one animal per ticket is allowed. The animal must be transported under the responsibility of its carer.

People who need it can travel with their assistance dog as long as it complies with the terms set out in RD 1544/2007, of 23 November, which regulates the basic conditions of accessibility and non-discrimination for access and use of modes of transport for people with disabilities

All our buses are adapted and have a ramp for people with reduced mobility.

Our vehicles can accommodate wheelchair and ambulant passengers simultaneously. It is not necessary to fold the wheelchair as the person can travel seated in the wheelchair in the area provided, always fastened by the seat belts.

If you prefer, you can also travel with the wheelchair folded and placed in the baggage area and sit in a seat reserved for people with reduced mobility.

Yes, all our buses have free WiFi available throughout your trip.

During the trip you will be given the WiFi password to be able to access to the Internet from your device.

Yes, we have a NúvolTV channel on the buses where travellers can consult stops, interchanges with other transport services, service regulations, as well as the weather and real-time information on flights and the service itself. You can also find out about the main events in Barcelona.

The entire fleet of Aerobús buses is sustainable. We have hybrid vehicles and electric buses. As well, our auxiliary vehicles are 100% electric.

No, our buses do not have toilets.

Tickets can be purchased online on the website and on the app. You can also buy your tickets in person at the vending machines located in the center of Barcelona and at the airport, from the auxiliary staff located at the bus stops and at our information desk (temporarily located in T1), and on the bus itself.

It is very simple. You just have to select the type and number of tickets you need and add them to your shopping bag. Once you have selected everything you need, you should follow the sale step by step.

You will have to provide your personal information, an email address where you will receive the tickets and select the payment method you prefer.

Once the purchase has been completed, you will receive an email confirmation of the sale as well as a summary of your order. The tickets will be enclosed for your future use.

Tickets are valid for 90 days from the date of purchase.

For return tickets, the validity of the return trip is 90 days from the date of the outward journey.

Children under the age of 4 travel free of charge.

Children under four years of age must always travel accompanied by an adult, otherwise they will not be allowed access to the service.

It is recommended that users between four and twelve years of age always travel accompanied by an adult. Although they will be allowed to travel alone as long as they have the corresponding authorisation from their parents/guardians and the requirements established in the General Conditions of the Transport Service.

Furthermore, it is important that you bear in mind that there is no auxiliary staff available to take care of the minor. In consequence, the transport will be carried out under the full responsibility of the minor’s father, mother or guardian.

If you make your purchase on the website or in the app, you can buy your ticket in advance and use it up to 90 days after purchase.

It is not possible to make a reservation.

You do not need to print your ticket before you travel. You can validate your ticket from your mobile phone or electronic device to the driver, who will scan the QR code.

Yes, you can buy a return ticket and use it from the other terminal.

Both digital and printed tickets have a QR code that must be validated at the bus entrance. Return tickets will work with the same QR code.

The combined ticket (both digital and printed) will come with a QR code that corresponds to the Aerobús ticket and must be validated at the bus entrance.

Then, to use the Hola Barcelona Travel Card, you will find a voucher on your ticket that you can exchange at any Barcelona Metro station. Go to one of the ticket vending machines, select the “voucher” button and enter the 13-digit code to get your card.

Yes, we have a combined fare which allows you to take a single journey on the metro or bus (within TMB) and a single Aerobús ticket.

You can obtain the invoice in the Private Area of the website, in the Orders section.

You have 90 days to return your ticket as long as it has not been used in whole or in part (in the case of return and combined tickets).

You can return it via website, in your private area, or directly to the assistant staff you will find at the different information points.

The driving staff will not accept any return.


If this happens, you can contact us through the web form indicating the incident. We will respond as soon as possible so you can have the ticket in your email.

No, the return of the ticket will be free of charge.

If you wish to make a complaint to the company, you must do so in the official book certified by the Administration, which you can request in the vehicles that provide the services. You can also send it to us via the contact form on the website, selecting the complaints form .

If you wish to make a suggestion in order to improve any of our services or simply tell us about your particular needs, you can do so through the Suggestions Box in the Contact section.

If you have lost an item on the bus, you will need to file a report on the lost & found form on the website, located in the Contact section.

Once you have submitted the incident on the website, you may go to our collection point (temporarily located in Terminal 1 in the departures area). There, we have a 24-hour service desk for travellers and you will be able to collect your lost item if it has been found.

We recommend that you always keep your belongings on hand and keep an eye on your luggage whenever possible.

According to the Conditions of Service, hand luggage is the responsibility of the passenger, so the company is not responsible for any damage and/or deterioration that may occur, nor in cases of theft, loss or misplacement.

Finally, we remind you that, if you wish, you can make a complaint about these events in the official complaints book (filled in by the competent Administration) which is available in the company’s vehicles.

Safe mobility

At Aerobús we have implemented a COVID-19 protocol where several measures promoted have been established. These include: daily disinfection of buses, the installation of a continuous air renewal system, the provision of hydroalcoholic gels at the entrances and exits of the buses, secure payment by card or at vending machines, etc.

In addition, we also have measures that passengers must comply with for everyone’s safety, such as the mandatory use of masks at all times, the prohibition of eating and drinking on board and the safety distance between people.

Yes, in order to avoid long queues and crowds at the bus entrance, we have online ticket sales on our website and app. You can also buy your tickets securely at the ticket machines in Barcelona city center or at the airport.
