Discover the new edition of the Salón del Manga

From Thursday 5th December, the famous Salón del Manga is back, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the Salón and returning in style for those who love this variant of comics.

The fair will be open until Sunday 8 December, from 9am to 8pm every day at the Fira de Barcelona Gran Vía (L’Hospitalet de Llobregat), and tickets must be purchased in advance to attend. They also have a space especially for the little ones, called Manga Kids.

In this new edition, many surprises and meetings of ‘mangaka’ artists, publishers, bookstores, exhibitors, and much more are expected! There will be an extensive programme full of activities, exhibitions and competitions, among others.

At this show, many of the attendees dress up as the characters of their favourite series or comics, characterising and interpreting this character. This is a Japanese art form, and is also known as ‘Cosplay’. The Salon also organises cosplay parades, competitions and shows, which are performed by cosplayers.

In addition, short films, documentaries and even the premiere of an Anime film will be screened at this edition.
