This 2024, the Festes de Sant Josep Oriol will be held from March 16 to 24, filling the streets and squares of the neighborhood of El Pi with joy and fun. These festivities are also known as the Festa Major del Pi.

Remember that Aerobús ends its route in Plaza Cataluña, where you can take the metro L3 to Liceu, or you can walk to the places where the different activities take place. The Plaza del Pi is the main venue for its celebrations and activities.

In these celebrations can not miss its 3 great protagonists: The Giants of the Pine Tree, the Lion and the Mulassa. During the 9 days of the Festes de Sant Josep Oriol, there will be activities such as parades, children’s activities, dances, fireworks, and much more!

As every year, a contest is held for the creation of the official poster of the festivities, in which the winner is awarded with money, in addition to the publication of the poster. This 2024, the winner has been Noah López, who, in addition to being inspired by the Romanesque, has represented in his poster the most important figures of the Sant Josep Oriol Festival, such as the Giants of Pi (Mustafà and L’Elisenda), the Lion, the Mulassa of Barcelona and the giant Perot lo Lladre..
